Responsible for designing and delivering appropriate training programmes in line with the needs of the business whilst fostering the professional development of the organization’s employees
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a learning and development strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
- Design training programs for employees and individual development plans.
- Lead learning initiatives that inspire, educate, and engage people.
- Collect feedback from participants to support continuous improvement.
- Leverage technology to boost remote learning.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in training and development.
- Develop communication materials to facilitate learning.
- Collaborate with other subsidiaries to identify new learning opportunities.
- Administer and monitor learning programs to ensure compliance.
- Develop strategies to drive participant engagement.
- Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths and consultation.
- Develop training manuals that target tangible methods.
- Effectively manage training budget.
Competencies
- Significant experience with effective learning and development methods
- Experience in project management and budgeting.
- Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices.
- Practical experience with MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills٫ with a good ability to build relations with employees.
Qualifications/Experience
- Degree in Human Resources or related fields from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Eight (8) years of experience working in a similar role.
