At LMI, Corporate Social Responsibility isn’t something we do, it’s who we are! We have made significant contributions in the areas of Healthcare and Education in Ghana.

Recently, we have supported several key initiatives such as the relocation of the Leper’s village at Nkanchina in Northern Ghana, the provision of back-up power for the Kaneshie Polyclinic in Accra and Project Burkina Faso.

Our Rural-Urban Food Transportation Program which is designed to help rural farmers get their produce to the various market centres demonstrates our commitment to contributing to the communities in which we operate.

LMI Holdings Provides Support For The Construction Of A One-Storey Building Pediatric Oncology Center And Provision Of Medical Equipment For The Yalgado Ouedraogo Hospital In Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso

The Lions Club of Burkina Faso, led by its Head, Governor Daouda DIALLO (Governor District 403 A3 Mandate 2022-2023) has constructed a one-story Building Pediatric Oncology Center for the Yalgado Ouedraogo Hospital in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The facility is dedicated to children suffering from cancer and their accompanying mothers.

The project was undertaken because it was noticed that the main causes of medical evacuation in Burkina Faso were cardiovascular disease and cancer. Also, the Department of Pediatrics at the Yalgado Ouedraogo Hospital lacked a dedicated Centre for the management of juvenile cancer.

The project was aimed at constructing an Oncology Centre that was fit for purpose. The Centre was provided with ultra-modern medical equipment for the effective management of juvenile cancer.

The building was commissioned on Friday, 30 June 2023, and is operational.

Donation to Governor of Lions Club District 403

LMI Holdings Contributes To the Lepers Aid for the Construction of a 40-room Accommodation in Kpandai Nkachina in the Northern Region.

LMI Holdings contributes to the Lepers Aid Committee for the construction of a 40-room accommodation for cured lepers in Kpandai Nkachina in the Northern Region. The gesture was to provide decent and comfortable places for the cured lepers upon their request to the Committee for the past years.

LMI Holdings Gives Light To Kaneshie Polyclinic

LMI Holdings donated a 100KVA Capacity power generator (Perkins Power Plant) to Kaneshie Polyclinic in Accra.

The 100KVA Capacity power generator, valued $36,000 is currently supplying power to the entire polyclinic has restored the hospital’s 24-hour service that was cut at 12 hours a day during the country’s worse power crisis last year.

The hospital will enjoy one-year free maintenance package which is worth Ghc 10,000.00 from distributors.

The sever energy crisis compleled midwives of the hospital to use torch light to deliver pregnant women of their babies due to the breakdown of the hospital’s standby generator.
