Job purpose
To drive official vehicles for all official duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick up clients from various destinations at the time they request.
- Make Bank deposits on behalf of the department.
- Distribution of company letters.
- Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage.
- Ensure the car is always clean.
- Schedule regular car service appointment and report any issues.
- Book carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
- Delivering package to customers in a timely manner.
- Picking up office purchase or other administrative needs.
- Car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car.
- Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
- Notify admin officer on vehicle renewals {Insurance & Roadworthy} and ensure renewals are done promptly.
- Ensuring that vehicles have enough fuel and are always ready for use.
- Arranging for vehicles repairs when necessary.
- Updating mileage records and fuel consumption records (by use of vehicle logbooks)
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and administrative tasks assigned such as purchases etc
- Any other official errands and duties assigned.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Maintaining the vehicle whiles obeying safety rules and regulations.
- Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion.
- Reporting injuries, accidents, and vehicle damage to management.
Requirements
- Experience in construction and equipment environment.
- Knowledge in corporate business driving etiquettes.
- Experience as a corporate driver.
Qualifications/Experience
- A valid driver’s license.
- At least 5 years’ driving experience.
- At least a senior high school certificate.
- Two (1-2) years’ experience years in similar role
